Downloaded the full package..installed.... works great... added the intro video...working fine.... I noticed under the downloads section, there is a user them area... well I downloaded the GORF one... placed all the files in the right folders... but GORF doesnt show up under MAME... looks like the XML master file needs Gorf added or something.. how can I do this? HQ only shows all the games it came with, but not Gorf.

Thanks... Very nice FE.

Was using MaximusArcade, which I love...but I will be putting this one on another cabinet..

Thanks

UH-OH should i let Brian handle this one? :)

You need to open up the file and add games manually for now....or u can have MAME spit out a file you can use to do stuff. I don't rly know how to do the 2nd option. But the first one, adding manually, is easy but tedious.

Add this to the XML:

<game name="gorf">
<description>Gorf</description>
<cloneof></cloneof>
<crc></crc>
<manufacturer>Midway</manufacturer>
<year>1981</year>
<genre></genre>
</game>

For now yes its manual but an easy way to do it is to make a master mame list via HyperHQ which has every game. Then just do a search in that file and find the game and copy and paste that section into your real xml file.

To elaborate goto the HS directory>database>mame>mame.xml

Add the game to the list. Copy a section paste the section then change the gamename.

Ok thanks...

Nice FrontEnd... reminds me a bit of a arcade cabinet that Costco was selling months and months back where I live.... It had the rotating wheel thing, etc.
