Hi, I downloaded the Colecovision wheel images from the forum but I noticed that there were a few missing so I took it upon myself to fill in the blanks. These are the first I've done so forgive me if there not great :)

Thanks! New contributions are always appreciated!

Since this is your first set I'll offer a little bit of constructive criticism. Flipper Slipper, Moon Patrol, Sir Lancelot, and The Yolks on You are perfect. B.C.'s Quest For Tires has a drop shadow, and the way you did it doesn't look right on darker backgrounds. What I would suggest on something like that is using the pen tool to cut out the logo without the drop shadow and then using the layer blending options to add the drop shadow back in. That way the shadow's transparency gets preserved and it looks good no matter what color background you use. Billpa has an excellent video tutorial on using the pen tool here:

It takes quite a bit of getting used to, but the results justify it. Personally, I fought using the pen tool method for 4 months before I finally made peace with it. Sometimes it really is the only way to get a clean extraction.

Congo Bongo is decent, but it does have some white pixels on the outside that need a little cleanup so they don't show on a darker background. If you got this one by selecting the background and cutting the pixels out, then a simple fix would have been to do a Select/Modify/Expand=1 before cutting. Then go in with an eraser to clean out the inside corners. Alternatively, you could have selected the white and green, then inverted your selection to cut the black pixels along with the background. Then you could use Layer Blending options or Edit/Stroke to add a fresh black stroke to the edges that wouldn't have any background color mixed in with it. I usually add a gray background layer while I am working on wheel art so I can see the crap on the edges better and then delete the background layer just before I save. Another operation that Congo Bongo would have benefited from is a Filters/Blur/Surface Blur to smooth out the texture from the screenprinting scan artifacts. I start with Radius = 1 & Threshold = 20 and work my way up from there if that's not sufficient.
