spent a couple of hours on it again today waiting for buttons will install joysticks, 7" screen in a day or 2
http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt203/oooPLAYER1ooo/26072009.jpg
the front under the control panel is going to be a second marquee with capcom logo.
the control panel is hinged for easy access the whole cab is going to be skinned in an aluminium/acrylic composite panel giving it a brushed aluminium finish vinal work will go straight onto in.

should be finished in 2-3 months just started to do the touch screen software its going to take some time as i'm doing move lists for every street fighter game.
i have already set up a special setup of hyperspin. it would be great to be able to launch diff emu's from same wheel, i know that will happen one day.

Now it just needs some buttons and led-wiz then i'm ready to skin the cab.
I still havn't decided on artwork yet going to wait until its covered in aluminium compound panel and see from there.

Wow!
The touch screen certainly beats the ring binder that sits under my cab!
I'm not even really a huge fan of SF, but I stumbled upon your thread, and I think that is really very cool what you are doing with that touch screen. Excellent!

very very cool stuff.. did u say your plugging your controls into a 360? and if so HOW?
I am currently running a Ipac2 but would love to be able to somehow switch between ipac / 360 controls. any ideas?

360 is just USB. and you can always do a controller hack no problem.
You know what would be cool to do with the 7" touchscreen (aside from your flash - or possibly integrated) - if you could have it log-in to the live server and pull the record data so you can see your stats on it (with your own css of course).
awesome cab!

prob not that hard to do.
my 360 was only used to get a feel of what the cab looks like in full action
i didn't even have the keyboard encoder installed yet.
i will have this cab 80% finnished by next friday its getting its artwork and stuff on monday. would have more done but it's hard working about 12 hours a day 7 days a week , good thing our rush is nearly over so more time to work on my cabs.
i also bought one of these yesterday arives from korea in 12 weeks.

whatever shooter it is it's a CAVE shooter - so you know it's good.
that's a pretty cool cab but I must say it truly seems international:
made in Japan
British video announcer
Shipping to Australia
From Korea
paid in USD
:P
was the price for the dual monitor setup - that looked pretty cool (there was one off to the left)

that video is the best vid i could find to show you guys . i just typed in "new delta 32"
it's made in korea this is straight from the manufacturer via an australian importer who i used to work with years ago. i'm sure they usually only sell these complete i was on the phone to this guy and he couldn't speak much english, so i have to wait 12 weeks to see what i ordered :)
i'm involved in the slot machine industry and we get stuff from korea all the time it's always in USD 6 months ago our AUD was down to .57USD but now up to a steady .83 i had to get it now because something tells me it's not going to stay like that for long.
there is about 6 different types i will scan the flyer tommorow so you guys can take a look

The motion sensors were put in for the Attract Mode. So when some one walks by the Attract sound turns on.

Hi, I'm in the midst of building a cabinet too and had strongly considered using a touch screen for game info and switching within series, manufacturer's etc. Can you tell us what brand of touch screen you purchased, and perhaps from where? Awesome looking cab, by the way. Look forward to seeing the finished product.

It would be awesome if your flash app could read Controls.xml and Command.xml data!
Maybe it could be integrated into Hyperspin somehow?

the touch screen project is on hold until i finish this and my pincab so stay tuned over the next couple of months.
i'm also restoring a sega dx driving cab.
Awsome cab!, Can you give us some more info on your moniter?
The screen is a commercial sharp we get them through work as a raw panel and add boards to to what i want with it if anybody is in australia i can help them out otherwise try contacting a digital signage company in your area that is what they are usually used for
