the only thing I really like on the theme is the backgroud, the rest of the artwork looks just slapped on, heres what i would do:

Take the girl out and make the guy about 50 percent bigger, then move him to the bottom of the screen and to the right so hes not missing his foot.

Then move the big logo to the top and vide below that and change the color of the overlay so it compliments the theme better.

Lastly i would find a picture of an illustrated baseball and make it really big so it looks close and have it sticking about halfway or a little more than halfway off the left side of the screen like the guy is throwing it.

My second try, the guy and baseball grow from the middle, the baseball faster then the guy of course

The player looks stretched out verticaly, you must of resized him wrong and not proportionally. His face looks tall etc... The ball could be alot bigger, and it looks like your scared to overlap graphics, everything looks serperated which gives the theme no depth at all and causes the theme to look like its missing something. Overally the graphics could use some TLC.
Sorry if I sound to critical but I really like this game so I want the theme to be a good one when I use it. If you want I can help you on this theme with the graphics so you have better stuff to work with.

Suberb, this theme is coming out much nicer, I want you to try a couple things for me to polish it off and let me know what you think.

Select the player layer, go to Filter -> Blur -> Smart Blur -> and select a pixel range between 1 and 3 and click ok and see if that helps with the graininess.

Then select the baseball layer and see about making the lines alot thicker so that it conincides with the graphics that your already using. All the other graphics have thick lines and the baseball is using thin lines.

Also for the ball try this, Go to blending options for the layer -> Inner Shadow ->
Angle - -160
Opacity - 35
Distance - 20
Choke - 0
Size - 100

Im just throwing those numbers out, you can fine tune it. Im saying to do that because your player has shadows and the ball doesnt so they look like they are from two different pictures which is true but you want them to look the same.

You might even want to consider adding a black or near black stroke to the ball also to match the character art, with the same amount or so thickness.

Now I see one (of many I'm sure) reasons your on the Hyperspin-fe team, great call on the smart blur, I learn more and more :dancing2: with every post.
