here r some pictures of my cab so far.

the first 1 is from the cab as a got it from the dealer (payed 100 € for it with busted arcade monitor)

the second picture is from the orininal arcade control panel. it was jamma, but it had to make room for a custom made one :-)

third one is from the cab as it is now, cleaned up a bit, added pc + 22" crt monitor mounted in stead of the arcade monitor,

picture number 4 is from my 'buildt it myself' control panel. it works like a charm with the ipac inside.

fronted is hyperspin off course, had a bunch of problems to set it all up with all the different emulators and systems, the forum is an indispensable item if you're a noob at building your own arcade cabinet.

the pc i use for the cab is a intel pent IV 3.4 Ghz 2gb ram 200 Gb hd. it runs smoothly most of the time, but sometimes it stutters, i guess i will have to upgrade to a dual core system to get the best performance

next is the artwork ang painting everything,
if you guys got any ideas for the artwork , let me hear it.

back again with an update on my arcade cab
let's say its 95% finished.
let the pics speak for themselves:

Looks really great. I love the shape of it. You've done some really nice work. What kind of theme are you going to go with? Is it actually going to be called "no name"? lol

i was thinking of using lots of street fighter artwork,
defenitely will use sf4 ryu + ken artwork for the control panel.

the cabinet hasn't been named yet, still working on that.

btw jtslade i do live in europe, in belgium to be precise.

Looks good!

However, IMO a cab isn't a cab without a trackball and spinner ;)

was thinking to add a spinner maybe,
but a trackball? don't see the use of it realy. you don't need one to control hyperspin. perhaps for some games i don't know.
