I think I will be doing NASCAR because theres one within walking distance from my house and I play it alot. Im not much into Nascar at all but I do think the pinball is pretty fun and has some cool toys and stuff. Some of the other ones you listed arent playable in pinmame yet I dont think due to the whole 3 year thing about roms possibly.

Ok wasn't sure, I knew NASCAR was for sure and I'd consider doing that one
Alot of those are already in the spanned 16:9 version. I think I read that Destruk was eventually converteing them all to FS.

I just attended a pinball expo, and took a mound of pictures of Sterns Playboy. I was considering doing this one as its really fun to play. I wouldnt mind revisiting Terminator 2 again, as table mods and new releases have come a LONG way since i did that conversion. I would like to release a new T2 and T3 as a dual release after Dirty Harry...
Playboy is certainly on my list of favorites!

I may consider doing one or more of these it's just a matter of resources. I'm no artist like the other guys, but if I can find good resources I'd be more than willing to take one on. I'm sure elvis could be converted from jps original fairly easily also.

I know it's not a stern but I would love to see someone do Jurassic Park when the new flash vp comes out.

Unclewilly or anybody else if you need and artwork redone I would be glad to help out. I've done a lot of artwork traces before and I'm very into details. I've been wanting to start giving back to the community in some way!

I'd really like someone to redraw the Tales of the Arabian Nights playfield UW and I used for the TOTAN night mod. We are going to update it eventually and it would be a huge improvement if the playfield was redrawn by someone with vast Illustrator / PS skills. Anyone who wants to give it a go please let us know.

A Totan retrace would take over a month to trace probably since it has so many fine details. Baby Pac-Man would probably take a few days.

I think I'm going to try and build a table from scratch. I've been thinking about this for awhile just need to start working. Not sure if I should start one in FP or VP9? What do you guys and gals think would be a good starting point?

Well I guess that depends on the type of table you want to do, if its a em recreation or original then maybe FP, if its a dmd/rom game then maybe VP. I found VP fairly easy to learn and work in, I would make an FP table except you have to rely on other people to do convert models for you if you do anything 3D I think, which is one reason I dont think I did an FP table, plus finding out that it took UW 6 months to make badcats kinda freaked me out. He made badcats in VP in only 2 or 3 weeks, since the rom took care of most of the work. But with FP your going to get nice 3D graphics which is very nice to. You just kinda have to weigh out whats important to you on whcih program you want to design in. They both have their advantages and disadvantages.

i agree with bill. I lack in art skills but am good with coding so i started in fp. I enjoy playing the rom/dmd tables more, so i switched over to vp, and i like the physics better in vp.
The art skills are comming along but i work with kingb33 and bill and they help out on the art side.
It's just a matter of preference. If you need any help along the way, i'll gladly help you.
for vp i think your best bet would be to try and mod a table first so you can see how they are built.
in fp it is just placing rendered models
hope that helps

Thanks for the insight BBB and UW. I think I will go with VP9, one table I had in mind was Austin Powers. I don't think anybody has modded Austin Powers yet for pin cabs? I'll have to check in with asking permission first I guess?

There is a 16:9 Austin Powers available over at vpforums. The graphics could probably use updating, but it is pretty easily convertable to a FS table.

yeah i was just going to say what wonderpuddle says. the austin powers table is fun but the graphics take away from it.
I second the jurassic park table really want that one for my cabinet!
