I am very interested in starting the planning process to build a hyperpin cab. Can you folks tell me where to find a list of plans to review? For Mame they were available everywhere online but I can't seem to find much for this. I would like to find a set of dimensioned plans to start with.
Thanks :)

I asked the same question a few months back but nobody helped me so I just got idea's from modern Bally and Williams and Alvin G cabs then made my own modifications to the sizes ,bought all the hardware pcs side rails, glass holders, coin door, hindges, legs, lock down bar and stuff.
measurements came from real pinball cabinets then took it to a wood shop that sells and cuts plywood,
I'll finally be putting some plans together for both the mini and full sized cabs that I built in the next week or so. The problem with plans is that there are a wide assortment of tvs to use. If you look around the forum, you can get some good ideas.

Yeah, I agree the reason there aren't a lot of plans posted is that most of us build the cabinet around our individual playfield monitors. I pretty much built the smallest box I could that would fit my 22 inch monitor. I don't have any written plans, but my machine is 32 inches long, 16 inches wide and the sides are 15 inches tall in the front, 18 in the back (witrh a seven inch shelf for the bac box before the straight decline to the front of the cab).

All good insight; thanks!
The monitors are the variables; I get that. Gives me a place to start though...
As if I can even afford this! lol

I copied a wide body Bally/ Williams which gives a little more room for the playfield monitor and allows you to use an easy to find lock down bar. The attached pdf shows the dimensions.

Hi guys.
Maybe this can help you.
There're the plans of my Tutti Colori Virtua Pinball Cab...(for the God sake...seems like a name for a new Super Street Fighter 2 turbo Champios edition Plus Ultra Power!!!!)XD

Also, comment that the sizes are in Cm, not Inches....:P
With the legs, the size of the pin is:
1'55 Cm on the rear side of the pin.
0'96 Cm on the Front side.
Cheers.
PD. I forgot to mention. My cab is for a 22" TFT for the playfield, and a 17" TFT for the BackGlass.

ktbeasley...
which lock down bar did you use and the backbox mount?

The lockdown bar is a Williams/Bally widebody off of a Star Trek TNG. I am a little confused on the backbox mount. Do you mean how did I mount the backbox? If so, I just screwed it to the bottom cabinet. I have a 32" TV for the backbox mounted vertically so it extends through the backbox into the main cabinet a little and therefore, I could not use hinges like on a real pinball machine. Hope this helps.

Silly question but what is a lockdown bar?

It's the piece of metal that sits across the front of your machine and usually locks into place to protect the front of the glass. I had to weld my own, as my machine is 27 1/2" wide.
