I would like to give away my old mame cabinet to someone who wants to fix it up and use it. The dimensions are 31" wide, 38" deep and 74" high and it is fricken heavy! I pulled off the control panel and the ipac, so you will need to provide that yourself. It is a great starter kit for someone who can't do the construction part themselves.

This was my first machine I ever built, so I didn't do the greatest job on painting the edging. I was eventually going to put some nice t-molding around it. I also made a bit of a mess with some black caulking around the mame marquee. It is a heavy duty unit, with a double bottom for extra support.

Comes with:

- Cabinet
- 26" Insignia TV
- Bezel cut to fit
- Plexi cut to fit
- Marquee and light.

Here's the deal.... I don't want to have to do anything. :) You have to come get it, or figure out a way to have it shipped with very minimal effort on my part (I cannot pack or move it to a shipping yard). I am in Edmonton Canada.

I'll give it to the first serious person who can come and get it. I am hoping that someone close by is interested, as it probably wouldn't be worth it to ship. If I can't find anyone who is able to do that, I will have to sadly rip it apart. :(

Wish I lived closer to you, I would definitely take this off your hands.

Why are you giving it away?

Why are you giving it away?

I have too many projects on the go, and not enough room. I already took apart another 4 player mame cab that I built, and it just kills me to pull apart all that work I did.

I also noticed that there are a few people around that want a mame machine, but either can't afford it, or don't know how to build one. So I thought I would be a nice guy. :)

Ok. It's yours!

I was hoping to give it to someone who didn't already have a mame cabinet of their own, but you are close, and willing to take it. I'll send you a pm.

The cab will be completed by me and then given to a friend. He saw mine and was begging me to build him one!

I'm not just a greedy 2+ cab guy, although I still want to build a table top box for myself though!

:)

Excellent! I'm glad you will make good use of it. I think this one is about twice the size of yours? You may end up wanting to keep this one (depending what you do to it). Up to you bud..

Nice to meet you Propaganda!

I expect some pictures of your handywork :) Nice to know that my machine went to someone who is going to use it for a good cause. I hope your friend enjoys the finished product.

Thanks for the Corona! :)
