My first theme made with HyperTheme! I am guessing Billy is only a couple of days out from releasing it. I must say that is has grown leaps and bounds from the original I tested. Lots of cool features, and it is solid! You guys are really going to enjoy it! Took me 5 minutes to put this together (while talking with BBB on the phone).

This one has an animated starry flight background. Enjoy!

Okay...was just playing around with this theme and its running memory upwards of 600MB. It has something to do with the FLV starry background (of course), so I am going to try to create the same background, much smaller, and then scale it up in HS. The video will not look as good but at least it will run properly!

Looks great! Can't wait to get home and have a look at the real deal. Can't wait for Hypertheme either. Hell, if it's as easy as you say, I may be able to knock out a few themes myself.

Alright. I just replaced the theme. I see there were a couple of downloads before I unapproved it. Anyone that downloaded the previous version, please replace it. I had to compromise and use a static background. But I went and did colored stars like in Defender. Should still be a pretty good theme.

@mountain...yes it is pretty easy to use. BBB will be included documentation built in to the program and I will be doing a video tutorial once it is released.

Cheers,

Send me the orginal background so I can fix the issue that you discovered.

Okay...I will send it to you tomorrow. It was a swf, not an flv. I forgot...cant use flvs in backgrounds. SWF was made in AE and I think thats the problem. When you bring it into Flash 9, its all image frame timelines (image per keyframe). I think this is why my other SWF animated themes bog down HS...especially on the slower computers. My plan is to redo them but bring in rasterized artwork directly into Flash and tween the animation in there. I think that will solve the problem.

Billpa:

I know you are worried about your swf files bogging down Hyperspin but I haven't had any such problem. I hope you don't decide to stop using SWFs in your themes. I find the SWFs really make your themes unique and attractive looking.

Here is a thought....if you are worried about lower end pcs not being able to run the swf files, maybe make two versions of your themes. One could have the swf and the other theme could have just a static display for lower end pcs. This way if you can't run the theme with the swf, you still can download the theme.

Im not stopping altogether...just coming up with a better process. This SWF bogged down my Quad Core so something was up.
