Guys, I did get a bit of time late tonight to play it. Unfortunately, it has crashed a couple of times (whenever I'm about to get near the multiball I think) with the result I don't really have much to show for a score.

Side story relevant to FP and intensive tables: I remember talking to Lio at the Future Pinball forums a few years ago, where we discussed FP's performance with low end video cards (my desktop has a TI4400, so it's a few years old!). Anyway, I upgraded my video card in my cab and aside from having more bells and whistles, I was surprised to see the physics also tended to be improved (my cab's CPU is also a bit faster too).

So the point? Steve has mentioned the physics are fine, but that's on HIS PC setup. I only got a chance to play the table on my desktop, so the weaker physics due to my slower PC's CPU and GPU might be the reason why the table is crashing. The beta never did this, but then again in the few games I played, I never came close to a multiball (until tonight! :)).

Anyway, I'll give it another go, but if note, that will be "0 for 3" for me. :(

It's too bad you guys are having trouble. Does it run better with the graphics settings turned down? V-sync off?

I just finished playing for 2 straight hours without one problem.

I did find a table problem though.. Once you get the Super-Stacker one time, you cannot take out the word diner anymore. I also hit the Super stacker in the bonus reel and it had no effect (after getting it once).

I know that this was an issue with the beta that I was testing, but Steve said that he fixed it. I'll let him know.

High score sent Studmuff!

I'm sure if I tweak it, I can get it to play better, no doubt. Just don't have the time to test it right now but I tell you, the table is one heck of a work of art!

Phew - only had very little time with the table (high priority tasks this week with work). It seemed rather confusing how to get good scores, but also fun concepts. Didnt catch on really here, so the scores sent are rather shitty I think.

But next weeks table is an old favorite, so cant wait to give that a spin!

To be honest, I had problems with this table .. did not like the theme that much, physics not good, stuggering, viewing angle, hardly any time to try it out ..

So expect a good score from my site! ;)

Hope the next tables in line are going to be more VP (Funhouse, Madieval Madness, Attack From Mars, The Shadow etc.).

pm sent ..

Cheers,
FD.

That's too bad that you don't like it FD. The stuttering, and physics issues, I am not sure about. But, I think the theme is good. What is to complain about there?

To score good points, you must try to make the Super Stacker. To do this, you have to knock down all of the word 'Diner'. Once you do that, you have to hit the drop target that pops up on the left side within 1 minute. After that, hit all of the rollovers for a piece to the Super Stacker. (and start again)

Hit all 3 bumpers up top 9 times, and then roll through the multiball target on the right to get multiball. (lots of points there).

Anyways... On to Funhouse! I had a wicked game on that last week. (too bad I can't use that score).

Personally, I would like to see some more older FP EM's in the tourney. (Triple Strike, Capt Fantastic, Balls' a poppin. Happy Clown, Jungle etc....)

Hey Guys,

I will have the lunch Takeout scores & standings up tomorrow. I don't think anyone will have to worry about me posting a high score :). This really wasn't one of my fav games from polygame but oh well. I will also update the schedule to add a few tables to the list. Funhouse is next weeks game. Will put more VP tables this time around.
Tom.

Rawd .. it's probably not as such I did not like the game .. but it's more to do on 'getting to know the game' for which I simply did not have the time this week! ;)

Cheers,
FD.
