Wow. I just realized that I have been playing the wrong version of this table! The only reason I noticed was because in the HyperPin video for the playfield, the graphics look better. I just did a search and found the updated table in the announcements. Going to put it on my cab now.

What the heck version was I playing?

Edit: Turns out I was playing the 16-9 version. This one is SOOO much nicer to look at and play! :)

I was also running the wrong version of Indiana Jones, so I swapped that one out as well. Now I cannot get my DMD to save it's position on this version of Indiana Jones. Anyone have any idea why? All my other DMD's save without a problem.

I'm gonna kill that Crypt Keeper.

Just played 22 games.

Once I updated my table to the proper one, I noticed that the nudging doesn't work too well on this table. Almost as if it is nudging 'up', instead of left or right.

On my last game, I got the 6 ball multi-ball. I thought that was pretty cool! I also got 4 multi-balls + a free ball, and the add-a-ball, making a grand total of 18 balls (I think) to go past my flippers! What a party! :) Still... not too proud of my score. We'll see.

Nudging: same here, but I don't think there's anything wrong. If I remembered correctly, JPSalas was/is experimenting with having 2 levels of nudging and I guess my nudging buttons are setup for the minimal nudge.

That's ok, was a blast to play as usual and at least, I got my score in this week! :)

Good thing I played that last game! Before that, I was at 180,000,000.

Excellent score WonderPuddle!

Thanks. That game is hard, with the shaking playfield and all. I was hoping that score would hold up -- I pretty much doubled my previous high score on ball one that game, so I thought it might be a decent number.

Now I need to learn how to play Indiana Jones . . .

And my six year old might be interested in joing the league. We were playing around on my machine last night and he's starting to figure out how to play. He actually beat me at Airborne Avenger and Wipeout, so we might have another addition to our league . . .

I had a rough time with this table due to the shaking! My secret weapon was almost useless (nudging). Also didn't have much time this week but hopefully I can put up a good score next week. I wonder if there is anyway to disable the shaking, because I liked the table but like someone else mentioned I wasn't particularly fond of the shaking action. Maybe I'll just go through the script and comment out everything that has the word 'shake' in it, lol.

Hey Wahreez, if you figure out how to disable the shaking, let me know. I'd like to do the same.

Ya.. I hate that. My hand stopped an inch from the glass a few times. Need to install a punching bag nearby. :)

Hey Wahreez, if you figure out how to disable the shaking, let me know. I'd like to do the same.

I believe I've figured out how to stop the table from shaking during multi-ball and such. It still has that slight shake when you nudge the table and I'm not sure that there aren't any side effects, but everything should be OK, lol.

Sorry it took me this long to get back to it, I just didn't mess with this table again till I decided to try tonight.

You just comment out the following lines, which start at line #555 on v2.0 of the table and probably the earlier versions as well. You comment them out by adding the ' which you see in the lines below. This is how they appear after I commented the offending lines out.

'Sub ShakerMotor_Timer
' ShakeDir = ABS(ShakeDir -1)
' PlaySound "quake"
' If ShakeDir=0 Then
' Nudge 270, 1
' Else
' Nudge 90, 1
' End If
'End Sub

Hope this helps those of you who prefer a less 'jarring' experience...

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha (Crypt Keeper laugh)
