I don't suppose you post under the same name at the XBMC forums?

lol No...just picked it out of my head because it is a Rush song I like and I thought it appropriate. Showing my age.

p.s....should I overwrite png files or rename them when prompted? Many newer files are smaller in size than the existing ones. TIA

Which PNG files? You talking about wheelart?
You really need to see what the differences between the files are. I'd keep the better quality / higher res, but without knowing specifically what they are it's hard to tell.
I've been away from these forums for a while so another one of the regulars might be able to answer your questions better than I can. :D

Thanks....I have rethought the process here and came to the conclusion that I should at first compile the various files. Then I can orderly install them instead of just a dump.
I am curious as to how one is supposed to gather and store such a large number of files. I have a 500 gig hd on this computer but am starting to wonder what more will be needed. I guess people use external hd's and have hyperspin load the roms and themes from there?
I plan on doing a thorough search of the forum this week as this is all very new to me. Fascinating yet daunting. My plan is to build a cabinet of which I have just today purchased a bare one. Needs work but only $20. Couldnt buy the materials for 5 times that amount.
