ok well i read everything in your help forum, i know how to put my file pathes in the right spot, i have all the roms in the right folders and emulators to, when i get to the game selection screen and choose a game i hit enter and nothing happens
this is what my log file says

Nintendo Entertainment System.xml loaded
02:09:07 PM | Loading wheel images
02:09:07 PM | Entering Menu
02:09:10 PM | Excecutable is fceu.exe
02:09:10 PM | Error: Cannont Find Rom File: C:\hyperspin\Emulators\Nintendo Entertainment System\Roms\10-Yard Fight (USA, Europe)..zip
02:09:10 PM | Returning to HyperSpin

i have used other FE like Gameex and never had any problems,
it seems simple enough to setup but no games want to load i don't think i'm doing any thing wrong, and nothing in your help forum helps me so i stuck

is your rom named
"10-Yard Fight (USA, Europe)..zip"

I bet it isnt other wise it would find it... As long as your paths are correct like you say.

I can tell from your log file you have two 2 periods by your romname, so it would seem that it would work in another fe either.

i notice that to but don't uderstand why it does that, like it looks so easy to do just don't understand why it won't load, well i'm going to start all over by DL your torrent and just start with one game and one emulator and if that doesn't work just going to stop watsein my time and go build a cab.

mildanti like bbb said you don't need a period when defining your extension. You also seem to have your roms named differently. Hyperspin is setup to use the no-intro named roms, you can use roms named whatever you want but you'll have to make your own database files and rename the themes. What you can do to get them all named the correct way is download either romcenter http://www.romcenter.com/ or clrmamepro http://www.clrmame.com/ I use clrmamepro but it isn't the easiest program to use.

I'll give a rough clrmamepro tutorial here.

First download clrmamepro and install/extract it. Then start it.

I believe when you first start it you are presented with the profiler screen. It will say >Profiler< at the top. if it instead starts out with a long bar click profiler. On the profiler screen click the "WWW Mode" button. Press the "Add Site" button. It should ask for the "URL of Dat XML" type www.no-intro.org/no-intro.zip into that field and whatever you want in the site alias field and press ok. It should then show a screen with no-intro on the left and a bunch of different files on the right like atari - 5200 and so on. Click on the very top file probably atari - 5200 and then scroll to the bottom, hold down shift and then click on the very last one. They should all be selected then. Press download and it will ask where you want to put the dat just press ok and it'll save them to the default spot. When it is done downloading all the dats it will say you successfully downloaded datfiles do you want to go back to the profiler to access them. Press Yes.

You should now be back at the profiler. Leave clrmamepro running but go to the folder that you installed or extracted clrmamepro to. Open up the datfiles folder and you should see a bunch of zip files. Find the ones named "atari - Lynx(some date in here).zip" "Nintendo - Nintendo Entertainment System(some date here).zip" and "Nintendo - Famicom Disk System (some date here).zip" inside those files you'll see an xml file, the nes one is called no-intro_nes.xml, copy those xml files to the headers folder inside the clrmamepro folder. Now go back to clrmamepro and shut it down. You need to shut it down so that it will know about the header files, we didn't shut it down before because if you do it deletes those downloaded zip files. If you do accidently shut it down before copying the header files to the headers folder you can get them from the dat files page here http://www.no-intro.org/datset.htm. Just download the nes, lynx and famicom disk system files and then get the xml files out of those downloaded zip files.

Now open clrmamepro back up and you should be at the profiler screen. Select the profile you want. In this case we are doing the nes so choose Nintendo - Nintendo Entertainment System and then press load/update. It'll say no settings found press the default button. Then it will say that this datfile requires an enabled header definition .... do you want to enable support answer yes.

Then it should put you at the main screen that is bar shaped and has 6 icons. Click the settings button. It should bring up the settings dialog. The little drop down box should say ROM-Paths if not choose that option. Then click the add button and browse for the folder containing your nes roms and press ok then just click the red x at the top of that window. Press scanner and then on the left it will say <Check Fix> all the entries under check should be checked and for Fix you should have Case and Name checked. That way clrmamepro will rename your roms to the no-intro names based on the crc values of the roms. If you want you can also click the unneeded box and it will remove all the unnecessary roms and put them in the clrmamepro backup folder. after that you should have your roms named to what hyperspin excpects.

Of course backup your roms before doing this. Hopefully this helps. There are alot of options in clrmamepro but hopefully this gets you on the right path instead of renaming one at a time. Let me know if these instructions don't work. I could of left some step out.

Oh I see you already solved it. I started writing that before I saw that. Oh well it should help someone. I'll try to add it to the wiki.

Just an FYI, this thread is 6 months old, and the answer has been posted all over ;)

http://datomatic.no-intro.org/

which can be gotten to from http://www.no-intro.org/ which is the same URL you posted minus the datset.htm ;)

thanks but i'm still none the wiser as to how to get the no-intro headers.

I have looked all over for them and have had no luck, i only have one which came inside a nes zip along with a dat.

if i download from http://datomatic.no-intro.org/ or http://www.romshepherd.com/livestats.php?nointro it's just dats not zips with xmls inside.

Most of them do not need a header xml, as they contain all the proper xml/information. I believe the only exception to this if using Clrmamepro is the NES set. However, in Romcenter (better then Clrmamepro), there is no issues with any of the dats.

If files are missing, ask on the No-intro forum or do a search on the no-intro forum. :)
