dude that's freaking awesome!
almost enough to make me give up XBMC: the only reason I won't is b/c it's done and I've taught my wife how to use it :P If I scrap it now and put 20 hours into another setup she can't use, she'd kill me.
Is that an apevia htpc case? I got one of those for my little bro last xmas and it has the same ridiculously bright LED on the front - he just stuck a piece of scotch tape over it.
Also jealous of the wireless controllers. I have 2 wired logitech gamepads and I wish they were wireless now.
Ah - finally, it'd be nice to actually play a game, I'm right there with you. Only thing is my laptop can't even handle starcraft :banghead: (I gave my desktop to my other little brother when I moved to China).
keep up the good work - but get to gaming!

Things just keep getting better around here! What's next for hyperspin? Teleportation?
The big question always remains: will we be seeing your code for this stuff available on this site?
Say goodbye cable!:dancing2:

Very impressive, Kool! I too am curious about your HSMC and making something along those lines myself. What are you using? You going to release anything?

You are doing some incredible stuff there!
Simply awesome!
How did you get your remote to work with HS? I have a Firefly remote on my HTPC and can navigate, but I cannot select a game from the remote. :banghead:
This is the one thing keeping me from using HS on my HTPC. :(

Dude...that is so tight. I finally had some free time at work to take a look at your youtube videos. Man has it grown since the last time I checked out your work!
Great job! When this gets released, I am definitely building a htpc to run it.

any application that can convert a peripheral to a key stroke will work, like joy2key or xpadder.
I use the PS3 remote on my HTPC with ps3remoteapp which lets you program keyboard buttons or keystrokes to corresponding buttons on the remote.
for example with XBMC, I have a shortcut on my desktop that is 'ctrl+alt+x' to open it. Programed that keystroke to the 'green' button to start it w/ the remote.

I did some research recently and came up with Boxee & XBMC. Also, Hulu now has it's own software you can download. I am planning to incorporate all of these into hyperlaunch when I get the chance. Spread the word.

I have already done these I have a social group created for using HS as a media center. I have directions for Boxee , XBMC and a couple others. It is a gold member social group. So I would become a gold member.

Absolutely awesome, just putting the finishing touches to my second HS setup and it's very similar to that but it was gonna be mainly used for movies....but now I can look at setting up entire cartoon series for the kids it'll be even better!
Man your a genius. Top work.

I have it but it doesn't let any non gold members in to this social group. AS for hiding content I am kinda offended by this comment . The amount of content I provide for this community is huge . Contributions is what keeps this wonderful FE moving forward. I did a search thru the main board and the info is there you will have to dig for it. So That being said , I have some content that is on the ftp and in my Social group as a bonus to contributing members. If you would like to contribute to this wonderful community plz contribute.

You are way off on your above statement. Koolbreeze is a major contributor to the Hyperspin community and will continue to enhanc eour users experience with this incredible frontend. I wish there were more users that exhibited the same selfless behavior as Koolbreeze. The amount of content he has provided our community in such a short period of time is mind boggling.
I really think you should retract your statements and offer up an apology to him!

Koolbreeze don't let little midget sweaty elves dissuade you from continuing your fantastic works.
After reading that last post, I swear I was thinking of changing my account name to:

But that seemed a little long ...

Nice, I laughed when I saw the MCE remote, I bought the exact same one from ebay awhile back! The mouse feature is nice.

Searched all over for download for this.. is it not yet available (I know its BETA)... Would love to test it on my setup.
Currently running XBMC on my classic xbox, and Tvirsity to both the classic and 360 as well as Jamcast for sound (like spotify etc..). Yours is by far "prettier" than all the others.
Nice work!
