i think i officially suck at searching forums and can see why new members just blurt out questions that have been asked 100 times already... pretty much like I'm about to do.*

*disclaimer: I did look. :)

I'm spending a lot of time to get my HS installtion just right on my daily use machine.

At some point I'm going to want to install it on my stripped down cabinet box.

Can I simply drag my hyperspin folder from c: to c: or do I need to do a new install on the cabinet box and then just drag and replace HS folders from c: to c: ?

I 'assume' the install exe was made to simplify front end setup but want to make sure there's no required windows files/drivers, etc that are placed in hidden areas which will cause me to stab myself with a joystick shaft when I run into problems.

:)

thx

GREAT. THX.

just doing a basic mame/daphne machine.

can't imagine the amount of work needed to find all those other roms for all the other EMUs. *head spin*

i'm mad I have to dig out my old working Daphne HD from mothballs as it is. haha.

don`t do what i did and started to set it up on an external enclosure on my main machine for testing purposes with a view to simply dropping it into my Cab machine when complete.
(seemed like a good idea at the time)
Only to realise after a few days of configuring that when i plugged in a pendrive the drive letters assigned to it changes depending howmany removable drives you have.
DOH!

Felt pretty foolish changing all the settings from H:\hyperspin\etc....
back to c:\hyperspin\mame etc...
