Absolutely no artwork at all for this theme that I could find except bad screenshots, so I just had at it...

The graphics look fine to me. IMHO, not every theme has to be fancy pancy, sometimes it lets the video shine a bit more, which is ok. Are the squids and pucks animated?

Anything with a Flyers logo in it is good...period. :D
Sometimes there is no artwork and you have to improvise. My Shuffleshot theme has no original art except for the logo. I recreated the board as best as I could and even perused shuffleboard websites to find some good images of pucks to use. It took awhile but it was worth it.
Good theme and a great game! Cant wait to play it again.

I think it looks really good. Too bad it didn't have a Montreal Canadiens logo. :)

Nice theme Scrapple, but am I the only one who doesn't understand what that octopus is doing there :questionmark:

You aren't an NHL fan are you? :) That's ok, even some fans aren't aware of this but it's a common occurance that in Detroit when the Red Wings score, some yahoo throws an octopus on the ice. If I recall, the game Open Ice does this too, though I think it's while you play, not just when you score. Why on earth did someone decide to throw an octopus? I have no freakin idea.

The history of the octopus is easy. I used to take 8 wins to win the cup back in the day. Back in the 40's or 50's someone signified the 8 wins with an octopus, and its become a huge following here in Detroit since then. Its basically our official mascot.
BTW Go Wings! We've enjoyed Stanley all summer :D
Thanks for the theme. This is one of my top 5 favorite and most played games on my arcade.

i didnt know the octopus was in the game.. i was just looking for a filler for that spot... and thought the octopus would be funny...
wow, good stuff though... now i want to play my flyboys against detroit now to see if it happens

Ive never seen it in the game, but I guess Ive never really paid attention. I just use the Gordie Howe code, and pick the Kings.
Howe and Gretzky, more points between those 2 than the whole NHL combined

It's hard being a Canadian who is living in Mexico. I'm forced to watch my hockey games at low quality streamed through the net. :( I laughed when I saw the octopus - I knew what it was immediately. It's only a tradition in Detroit.
