So I've been wanting and arcade cab really bad. I work on all this HS stuff and I don't have one. So in January when I move to a new 3 bed room Apartment I'm going to make a Bartop. HEHE See I could only talk my wife into a bartop. So I told her that It needed a stand. So I thought Bar I love to drink.
So I am going to show you some pictures of my wine rack which i will put a bartop cab on. I am goin to mod the Wine rack as I do this. The Rack is very heavy so I am not worried about if getting knocked over it has a nice foot print. I am going to put my wheel barrel bar top off to the side and bring out all my military stuff. I buried a lot of good friends in the military so kinda have a shrine for them. So It will be a happy time I get to drink play music and video games and remember my old buddies.

No comments on it being a shoe rack bar. I am in a small apartment all space gets used. I want to clean up the look so I can have some more fun with my gear.
If anyone has some Idea I would love to hear them.

I was thinking making it a 1 player cab with a track ball . If I wanted to do 2 play easy as a wireless controller. I really like some of the old school track ball games. my other buddy told me to look into a LCD light gun. It would be easy to put a holster on the side .
But I will decided as time goes on.
For access to the underside of the buttons I was going to put a lock on the right side subdued with a cap for access to buttons and joystick underside. I've seen it done it's hard to discribe without a photo. We will have to see I got the time to reasearch.
I here ya need some quarters mate. Oh sorry LOL
I am also building a bartop. I finally decided to do a 1 player + trackball. I am basically building it for myself, and if I want to play two player, I can hook up a wireless controller.
I am having a hard time deciding what would be a good arcade stick to use? Are there true 4 + 8 way controllers that don't need to be manually switched these days? Mine have a switch on the bottom that is hard to get to in the bartop cabinet.

I can't remember which ones, but there are some where you pull up on the joystick and rotate it like a quarter turn to activate the restrictors or deactivate them. So it's a true 4 way to 8 way without having to disassemble or flip switches, just lift and rotate.

That sounds nice. I'll take a look at the HAPP site, thanks.
