HP/VP Tournament Signup 11/17/09

Hey Everyone,

I would like to start a new tournament. This will NOT be a league.
I would like to get at least 16 people signed up but if we have less that will be ok too.
The tournament will consist of everyone playing against each other and scores will be determined by rank. (So if we have 16 players, top score gets 16, then 15 for 2nd, 14 for 3rd etc last would get 1 pt.)
There would be 2 VP tables to play per week.
(A total of 32 pts per week could be won by one player = 2 tables + 16 pts if you have the high score on both tables each week).
Tournament will run 4 weeks. If there is a tie a final table will be selected and the people with the tie will play the remaining table to determine the tourney winner.
If you don't play a table, you will receive get zero points for each table not played

Perhaps this will help hone my pinball skills, then again, I'm not sure if there is much hope. At least I'll get to play some tables I might not otherwise have tried.

It would be good to stick with VP tables because I have discovered that when you use an accelerometer with FP you can not tilt the machine. I guess you need to put an asterisk by my score on 3Angels (the only week I won in the last tournament). Man, I was cheating and didn't even know it. Sorry

Each week we play two vp tables. You will be given a deadline as to when the scores for the tables are due. You can play the tables for a given week as many times as you want until the deadline. Scores will be tallied and points will be award by how well you do versus the other people playing. After 4 weeks the person with the most points wins the tournament.
Rules will be very similar to what I have done in the past. Just check out my week 1 Video pinball league rules. Only exception will be 2 tables for the week instead of one.
