There are a few tables that I would love to see in VP9 FS. I wish that I had more knowledge, so that I could convert/re-create some of these tables myself. I am wondering if any of the talented table designers would like to take on any of these tables?

I am actually just curious if there are any plans for any of these tables? Are some of these already converted, but I am missing them? Would some of these be possible to convert myself? Maybe some of these are already W.I.P.'s, but I am not aware? Do you have permission to mod these vp8 tables?

hey rawd,
I am planning to do space invaders just waiting for Noah at vpf to send me a pf scan. also CFTBL will be built and coded today, just needs testing. taf is also being built but I just started it. I think lord h has a monster bash comming but if it isn't out soon I'm going to add it to my list as well as a vp9 from scratch scared stiff. I believe the Aussie guys have another table on the list in progress as well.
the only issue I have is I have
limited Photoshop/illustrator skills so unless there is a decent quality stripped pf available I can't really do the tables, unless someone is willing to redraw them for me.
the older tables like space invaders/close encounters are really easy just as long as they are rom controlled. gorgar only took me 2weeks to build and code.
I started a second job so my time is limited, and I've been spending most of my free time working on the tables I have in progress. if you guys can track down resources for me, I'll definately start banging out some tables. the most important things I need are decent quality stripped playfields and plastics. they also need to be pinmame controled. that's why I haven't started triple strike.
there are also plans to do seawitch using Martin b's fp textures, as well as a from scratch T2 using liteusers fp textures.
so anyone with any good resources please pm me so I can grab them, i'll get tables built as quickly as I can. I'm still pretty new to this but I can get them done at a pretty decent pace.
I would be glad to try to get some images for some of these tables to help out.
Can you post an example of "decent quality stripped playfields and plastics."
Really looking forward to TAF.

if you check out the design resources playfield images over at vp forums, those are all pretty decent quality. balls of steel web site has the best plastics but those are more easy to find for me. the pf is most important. I appreciate any help with resources.

South Park! Great to hear you are working on that one. That was definately one of my favorite tables to play on my old mame cabinet on VP8. Thanks oooPlayer1ooo!

And I'll second the request for Whitewater. I'd also like Strange Science. Still would love Big Bang Bar as well. And I have a Pinball Magic that I plan on shopping soon, so if anyone wants to do that one in full screen glory, I'd be happy to take whatever pics you'd need.

White Water is on my to do list. As soon as i find one, ill snap off all the reference pics at the right angle. Its safe to say that White Water's 'Insanity Falls' ramp/area MAKE that game. I think they need to be perfectly recreated, and i'm working on it.
I have one suprise table in the pipeline at the moment, then i'm helping UW and the guys with Addams Family. After that, i'll be onto White Water, i'm really excited to get that one on my cab.

I'm not 100% sure of this, but I believe Groni prefers there is a period of time that passes after release before he will authorize his tables for modding (converting a table from 4:3 to "Full Screen" is considered a mod).

FYI, I own a Firepower and a nice Canon Digital Rebel. Say the word and you got it. There are a couple of blemishes on the playfield but it's not too bad.

Thanks for advice ! I will try to learn how to rotate the table. If somebody can give info it is highly appreciated.
What comes to Scared Stiff mediapack, I was doing one by myself. It is not great, but better than empty black screen. Can put it somewhere if somebody needs that as well.

I tried to find angles, xscale, yscale and so on from options on righthand side, but there was not any fields like that. Should I select each table part individually and change these ? Probably it is best to wait for your sccreenshot :)

As I know how eager you can be over to play, Iīve logged in to my computer through a remotion serssion service here from my work. :D
Due to this I donīt have the time to take a screenshot, but see if you could follow these steps.
1. Load the table in visual pinmame
2. make sure that you click om the 'OPTIONS' button to the left. Now a options tab should be visible on the right side.
(If you cant find the options I show you, you may be in 'backglass view'. In that case, check this button which is located near the OPTIONS button to the left to go back to Playfield mode)
3. Now, change the excisting values to this ones.
Inclination 45
Field of View 0
XY Rotation 270
X Scale 1,9
Y Scale 2,34
X Offset -355
Y Offset 475
...and leav the others as they are!
4. Save table, and run it.
(Donīt remember, but you may want to remove the DMD at the top.
Just click the decal (image DMD) and press delete.)

I realize this is a very old thread and I came upon it looking for theatre of magic, but could someone update The Addams Family to a night mod or better yet just move the entire table up so that we can see the rules?

I started re-building Bill Paxton Pinball using Unclewilly's blank table template. This template has given me a great starting place on learning the Visual Pinball editor. I'm having a major issues trying to get the ramps right as the ball keeps getting stuck behind, but I don't want the ramps too steep.

Did you try building 'hidden' structures behind the ramps to channel the ball away? Im not sure if the steepness of the ramp effects whether or not the ball will get stuck, I've always just built triangles behind that the ramp obscures.

The green triangle on my screenshot above is actually supposed to have a ramp going over it. I just haven't tried to add that ramp yet.

Just build the ramp in 2 pieces but make them invisible then use the ramp you have shown as non collidable and visible. Make the bottom part of the ramp go up to height 60 and have it end where the ball is obstructed. Then make the top part of the ramp end at the normal height. I hope this makes sence. Ill have an example in the comet tutorial when I finish it up this week.

I started re-building Bill Paxton Pinball using Unclewilly's blank table template. This template has given me a great starting place on learning the Visual Pinball editor. I'm having a major issues trying to get the ramps right as the ball keeps getting stuck behind, but I don't want the ramps too steep.

This is awesome. I would love to play this table and this is realistically the only way I ever will since only one "real" one exists. Can't wait for this to be complete!

can't recall. i had the original machine at one time, and i think i downloaded the desktop and rotated it to FS. was fairly easy to do if i recall. will dig into one of the machines and see if its on it.

Maybe I should have said for a 3 monitor cabinet. I always get mixed up with FS. That doesn't mean cabinet, right?
