Golden Axe - goldnaxe(Aabra_08-28-08)

I've started work on a Golden Axe theme. Here's what I've got so far:

Seriously though I have started work on one and I'll post some screenshots in a couple hours once I've got it looking decent. While looking for art I found this and it was just too hilarious not to share.

Hrmm, imageshack is really slow for me today. Ok well, here's the latest. I need to work on the background (it's just black for now but I do want a dark background) and maybe a video overlay. The little minion guy moves back and forth with the chase animation. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep him or not.

I also need to do a lot of work on the Golden Axe logo itself. I couldn't seem to find a high res version of it so I'm going to need to play with it a lot to make it look better. (I already played with it some... it used to look a lot worse.)

If anybody has a high res version of it please let me know where I can get it. Thx

I like it alot, but the little guy goin back and forth Im not to sure abuot, kinda doesnt go with the rest of the theme. Honestly it looks like how I would of done it so keep up the good work. Definitely needs so background filler, dont try to hard on that part, just somehting to fill it in is all and maybe a overlay for the video and I'd approve it right away.

Ya, I'm inclined to agree with you on the little guy. It's just such a great (extremely high res) picture that I was trying to find some way to use it. It's a shame but I'll probably just get rid of him entirely. He really doesn't fit in.

Ok, I think this is just about done, depending on what everybody thinks of this. So... what do you guys think I guess? heh

I added the background image, got rid of the little guy, realized that I had missed cutting out part of tyris's background so I got rid of that, and added a basic video overlay. I also modified the Golden Axe logo a bit to make the text look better. It wasn't looking all that hot since I had to blow the image up a fair bit.

I think you should move the video up some so its a little behind the logo, it would seem less covered up I think.

I would remove the chinese letters from the wheel logo, as it's too big like that.
