Okay guys.. I took about 5 minutes to whip this up... I want to do a total of 8 or so themes and let you guys pick which is best. By no means am I done.. I think you guys will really dig some of the things I got up my sleeve.

But not as soon as Id like.. By the time it comes out I think we will have plenty of art and themes ready for it.

I'm sure we will. :) Unfortunately however it'll probably be a lot longer than that before it can be emulated. Especially if it's rendered in 3D like I suspect it is. :( The folks over at Mame don't like to emulate a game while it's still earning money in the arcades.

Oh, I had no idea they were releasing it for the PC. Wow... nice. It's not often that you get to use your joystick without loading up an emulator or a sports game.

It just occurred to me that since this is a PC game.... are there plans for Hyperspin to support PC games in the future? Things like Mugen, Street Fighter 4, etc...

It would have to be added for a SF4 theme to make sense at any rate. :)

Make shortcuts to your games... Place all shortcuts in one folder..
You rom extention will be *.lnk The name of the shortcuts is what goes in the XML.
Enable pcgame mode from the setting.ini and Voila

Ill post a working config for launching this very soon.. But it all possable.
Take a look at the current daphne config.. It lauches bat files... Chang the extention to LNK.

Launching by shortcuts is not near as bad as bat files... Infact 90% of things you lauch are by shortcut..

How else would you be able to get all games under one wheel any other way?
Romfiler = *.lnk and point to the directory where there are...

The alternative would be to lauch the exe directly but that would be diffrent per game and would requre its own ini and everything..

Easy fix... Im just trying to get my psd's in order and do some basic clean up.

I have a better idea than making 8 themes, why dont you have the backgruonds fade in and out of eachother in flash, and make the characters slide in and out with each background change that way you get the best of 8 worlds in one theme.

That will work... Just cleaning up all the art I grabbed for now.

I'd move the logo up to where its partly out of the screen slightly so you can move the video up, the video is in a bad spot and will be mostly covered by text and other artwork.
