I would like to suggest hopefully an easy improvement when it comes to game selection....

As everyone knows the vast majority of games available to most console based systems as well as mame makes it very tedious to try to get to a game with say the letter "P"

If you have a complete set then it takes you forever......

What if while in your wheel you could hit the letter "P" on your keyboard and instantly go to the part of the wheel with the first "P" choice?.

Now I understand most pple use hyperspin in a cabinet so using keyboards could also be tedious but there are a vast majority of pple who cant afford to build a cabinet right now and love the gui and feel of hyperspin so they use them on their normal computers... Its also very helpful when setting up games then going to check to see if everything worked right!

Since we already have xml database which is usually programmed in alphabetical order there should be a way to add support for this right?

You won't get your wish of using alphanumeric keys for navigating to games BUT there is a new wheel navigation feature that will take care of the problems with large game lists.

Hyperspin is primary designed to be ran in a cabinet WITHOUT a keyboard. So like billpa says you probably will never see this implemented. Although the link that he supplied should fulfill your requirements.
