Hi, just started with hyperspin and learning about it, i'm not a totally n00b, been playing around with maximus but it seems to be more tricky with Hyperspin

When i choose a system to configure i pay attention how the installed paths should be except differnt driver

Allright, so i got hyperspin on x driver

In my setup with Sega Master System i have

x:\hyperspin\Emulators\Sega Master System\Fushion.exe
x:\hyperspin\Emulators\Sega Master System\roms

Am i right so far?

Execution - Hyperlaunch
PC Game - Enabled

But when i start a game with master system i get error message, cannot find any xxx rom with any provixed extention?

The crc's with my roms are correct with hyperspins database list

I managed to set up mame and neo geo, and been playing around with maximus, so i know a bit tho

Any ideas of what i'm doing wrong?

I get the roms running outside

shouldn't this Fushion.exe be this Fusion.exe

Sorry, it's fusion and nothing else

And maybe this should been in the support?

It sounds like you don't have the right extension added for your roms. Check the extension field to make sure you added the proper rom extension. Also you shouldn't have PC game enabled for fusion.

In HyperHQ, choose the Sega Master System Wheel - in the Extensions field, do you have the correct extension (e.g., ZIP or SMS?)

ditto with what torcer said and double check this should be one or the other not both and -use hyperlaunch

I tried both

The only thing i can think of my roms are misspelled?

I've tried different setups but same results

But i manage to get MAME and NEO-GEO to work and even NES so i'm getting there

Would been nice if someone or more if they had time did step by step guide for each emulator. With screenhots for the tap configuration.

Or alternative, a hyperspin package that is allready setup with right configuration with emulators, but not including the roms?

All people had to do then is to change their driver in the settings?

Allright, i tried something differnt

I went to Master System Database and xml file and opened it. I copy and paste the first game on the list of letter a. Go to my Master System romfolder and copy paste the zip name so it match the database's name

Go back and lancuh hyperspin and i get the emulator working! But it just get black screen. I can play same rom outside tho

Probably the misspelled are my biggest issues if it's not working?

Allright, i think i found the soloution

I renamed 2 roms with same name as in master system database

Success!! Gonna be a pain to renaim every rom tho, but at least i got it started!

If anyone knows some website that have them that works out of the box, send me a pm?

Thanks

You don't ned to rename all of your roms, you need to create a databse file of the roms you already have. There are a few programs you can use for this like hyperlist, or this one http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5596

Just create a new database using one of those programs and replace your existing Sega Master System xml file and it should work.

Ok, thanks i have a look at your link

So far in 2 days i got Sega Master system, Sega Genesis and Sega CD to work with fusion Kinda funny, that some roms i can't get working outside hyperspin but works inside hypersin.

Next try is Sega saturn. I've manage to add Sega Saturn into the wheel menu, but i can't enter it. I have the sega files from the ftp with images and such, but donno how to go from there

you should change extension from "zip" to "sms" under the Sega Master System Wheel. I think that should work

file extension doesn't matter for navigating the wheel - you have an error in your Sega Saturn database - drag it into internet explorer and you can see where the error is.
