While waiting for the next release of Hyperspin I thought I would work on my control panel. So I have a couple of questions and when answering them please keep in my I am currently laid off and on a seriously tight budget.

I am trying to avoiding buying more buttons and curious how I map 2 buttons to exit emulator/hyperspin. Is this done through the settings.ini? Or do I have to use Hyperlaunch. I haven't used hyperlaunch yet but I can learn.

Also how much do the overlays cost (roughly) and is that something I can get a kinkos? All prices I have seen on other sites are a couple of years old.

Last question, but it is not about my control panel. Anyone know how complete the emumovies ftp is when it comes to mame, nes, snes videos? I am considering paying for the ftp access but for the 1 year access it would take up 1/2 of what is left on my budget.

Thanks for any info, it will help get me going...since I have lots of time on my hands.

Hyperlaunch is your friend. Look through it thoroughly, however, understand that any changes made are saved as soon as you close it. Also, I'm not sure if u can map to buttons as exit. (I don't think so - besides, why would you want to)

I'm not sure on pricing of overlays, but a google search should be of interest.

So no recompiling of hyperlaunch is necessary? just change the settings for hyperlaunch in notepad and go, sounds easy. The reason I want to map 2 buttons is I want an exit button but at the same time don't want to accidently hit a button and exit a game.

I did try google for the prices but unfortunately everything I found as far as prices were a couple of years or more old. I can give kinkos a call tomorrow just thought I would get a general idea from people that have created the overlays.

I'm sorry.... I was thinking you said HyperHQ.

Yes... recompiling is necessary if you make changes to Hyperlaunch.

no problem. I thought I saw in another post that you needed to recompile but now I can't find it. have you ever recompiled it? what program is used if you did?

do you use the emumovies ftp? I was curious how complete it was also.

thanks again for any info.

Download and install 'autohotkey'.

Then after you saved a change in your hyperlaunch file, you right-click it, and the option to 'compile' should be there. (May have to restart after installing autohotkey to see this option)

I've subscribed to emumovies... Glad I did.

This is who I used for my CPO and side art. Great to work with. His name is Scott and cost is quite reasonable.

Thanks StormShadow that is exactly what i was looking for. A little higher than I was hoping but as I said I am on a very limited budget and was hoping the printing would be cheap. But that still gives me an idea.
