I would like to put two single USB-buttons into the front of my Cab to throw in Coins ("5" and "6"). I once saw configurable buttons on the internet (only 1 single button!) with an usb-connector, so I would not have to do any soldering or take apart keyboards etc...

Only bad thing is that I can't remember the name of this thing and can't find it again on google.

Any suggestions? Anyone who knows this or a similar solution for me?

Why not run two microswitches mounted to the comparator(s) to your Keywiz? I'm asking because I'm thinking I'd like to do this as well.

Okay, looks easy enough. Thanks for the tip. Maybe I'll try it. Currently I'm not using a Keywiz, because I build a custom cabinet with a fitting space for my X-Arcade Tankstick...
Will have a look at this, anyway looking forward to further suggestions. Don't know how well I can get my hands on a Keywiz... Living in Germany...

If you are willing to solder or hack something, find an old keyboard, game pad, or controller. Just solder to the buttons you need or want and map using xpadder or joy2key. This would be the easiest route and something you can do with the parts you have. Hope this helps. If you need more detail just ask.

A little late I know, however groovygamegear.com has the NovaGemCDR which is may fit your need. It looks like a lit coin slot that has a built in switch

Thanks for your reply. Ordered these buttons two weeks ago! :) But sadly they are still in delivering, since I'm from Germany... Always a loooong way for my parts!
