Hello,

In HyperHQ i chose the option to launch just one wheel. I chose Mame. I want the cab to launch just Mame for now. When I set this up it tries to launch my PCGaming wheel insteal. Any ideas? Thinking about reinstalling HS because I cant fix it and I seem to have a few other bugs that can't be explained.

You have Single selected in HQ and Mode set as MAME?

Make sure that in the Settings.ini it shows the following:

Menu_Mode = single
Single_Mode_Name = MAME

Then make sure that your MAME settings are all setup correctly.

It is set up as you described. I think my HS is currupt. I moved to CO to take care of my brother's family while he was in Iraq. When I came home months later I no longer had the feel for HS. I was about 80% setting it up the way I wanted. I think relearning after the time away caused some currupt areas.

I'm just going to delete everything save my roms and vids and start over.

really sucks. I wonder if I should just wait on the new version. My luck, I'll redo everything, and then see a post "HS new version download link."

My luck, I'll redo everything, and then see a post "HS new version download link."Well, we are a still a couple weeks away from releasing the new version. There are still a couple more pieces that need to fall into place, some more testing, packaging, the website is being updated, the downloads section needs to be closed, deleted, and rebuilt. So, there are still several things that we need to get taken care of the new release.

try opening the actual settings.ini instead of HyperHQ and seeifing if it's correct.

I did that. I opened settings.ini/Mame.ini to see if it was calling the pc wheel etc. Nothing. I already backed up my roms and videos and reimaged the machine. Wanted to install XP anyway. Vista sux, and I had a lot of issues With Windows 7. A few emulators won't run on 7. Also 7 wasn't as friendly with resolution switching and would hang. I ran Win7 64 if that matters.

VirtualNES would be one off the top of my head.

I have an Asus gaming laptop, 6G RAM, etc etc... the works, I upgraded to Wind 7 on it. My MAME computer is an HP. It has a dock for a slide out internal/external drive. I kept my HS/roms/etc there. This way I could slide it out, add the power and USB connector and work on my MAME cab from any comp in the house/work etc. Just had to rename the Drive to J:.. The Windows 7 (64, not 32) caused me slow launch times to emus, hang up, and all sorts of very noticably issues. So I gave up on 7.
