Photoshop CS3 Question

When im using photoshop it want let me use any of the tools like the image is locked. I make a copy of the image in layers and still nothing. It just stays as the hand. Any ideas?

Edit: Now it works i just typed this and went back to the photoshop screen and everything works. What the heck!?

Hmmm, I dunno. I know that sometimes an image can be in a mode that doesn't allow many changes. Make sure that it is in RGB mode by clicking Image>Mode>RGB color.
