my mame theme which is revised from the default mame theme.
i would have made the video larger but i really like the "games that time forgot slogan", plus the video quality looks better at this size.
your thoughts?
the video goes thru the arcade with a nice song and ends with the a mame logo animation.(i found this video on youtube)

I like it a lot actually. Here are my thoughts. How about taking the "games that time forgot" part and cutting it out. Then you could make the video a bit larger and maybe place the slogan on another artwork folder and give it it's own animation. These are just a few thoughts.

That's a good idea.
In fact, I don't really like the default mame theme, which is not really "retro arcade feel"

Looks like you found Dave Dries' "Arcade '84" video on youtube. Excellent choice. There are two different versions of that video, one longer and one shorter, with different music. There's also a different MAME intro video entitled, strangely enough, The Games that Time Forgot... coincidence? :hmmmm2:

lol magostin...i did what u did on the 1st day i got my hands on HS. I've had Dave's videos for years (used them for 3D arcade) and pretty much did what u did but a little different. I though it was funny when i saw your post.

Very nice! Great work on that, cant wait to see it.
This is an excellent theme... I honestly like this one better than the original MAME system theme. Approved and added to User Created > System Themes download area.

Where is that MAME theme now? I cant find it in the download section.. does someone have a link?
I've always like this theme.. can't seem to find it anymore and would like to used it on my cabinet.. does anyone still have it?
