The dragon art quality is poor, but haven't found anything else !

Probably wait a little bit longer before uploading it for feedback, looks like theres some white stuff on the bottom picture, and your date shows you made this theme in March which would make it hard for people to sort by date I guess.

I would definately improve the dragon. It just looks too blocky.

Actually, I think the white stuff is part of the flame design and should not be removed, don't you think ?

For the dragon, the source is an in-game snapshot. Can't find a better source anywhere !

Finaly, you're right, this theme have been too quickly uploaded.
I'll try to solve the dragon problem and reupload the theme later.

PS : sorry for the date : in france, the day is in first and the month in 2nd place, so I swap those sometimes ! Could you fix this please ?

Maybe just leave the dragon out, I think it would be fine without it, better nothing at all than a picture you dont like.

The white stuff I'd either take out or leave in, the flame on the left of the characters has it removed and the flame on the right of the characters has it in.

Not really feeling the dragon, doesnt go with the rest of the artwork. But its up to you.

I like the dragon better as the original sprite. It looks more retro...but maybe its just me. :)

I like the second dragon better if you are going to have the dragon. I definitely agree with bbb the white part of the flame needs attention. I say cut out the parts that aren't instead of filling in the part that isn't filled.

3d doesnt mean better, just means artists have become lazy! lol

I love the look of good 3d personally. It also just makes the most sense to me. Create the art asset once and then animate it and use it however you want.

I cutted out the white stuff in the bottom flames.

I really love the pixelised dragon hovering, it isn't noticeable when HS is running the theme.

Should I upload this updated version ?

PS: I just installed Corel Paint shop pro X2 : it's really nice !

I personally think it looks great, except for the dragon. I would remove and center the logo. It would look very crisp...

I have to make a decision :

I will upload the cleaned 3rd version.

Anyway, with this version you'll have all the items, and with the soon HT relase, those who wants will be able to remove the dragon and re-organize the theme.

I think this solution is the best of both worlds.

I was hesitating between the logo above the faces or at the top.

Anyway, like I said in the previous post, with the next release of HT, you will be able to easily change it.

Hi, sorry if it takes a few days to approve themes. One more thing I noticed is that in the name you have the day and month switched. It reads:

Altered Beast - altbeast (Evil Dindon_04-09-08)

When it should read:

Altered Beast - altbeast (Evil Dindon_09-04-08)

I've gone ahead and fixed it and I'll approve it after a test run.

I noticed that in the dl section, my updated theme disapeared and this is the older one with the blocky dragon that is downloadable.

Could you swap them please ?

Thats one reason to try to only upload your final version, it sometimes can get confusing when theres several revisions uploaded all with in the same time period.
