Yeah, watched this long ago and think I know where you found it. It does make everything look real clean and would be great for durability and providing a clean surface for putting on side art if the laminate was stone smooth. I've put laminate on before (workbench) and the first time was nerve wracking not to mention I didn't quite get out one big bubble in the middle. Contact cement is not very forgiving and this is an expensive way to go, but for anyone with the space and assistance would work quite well.
