Help with zip files!!!!!?

When i download a zip file instead of opening up in a normal window it opens up in the search results windows displaying everything with the zip file name. Its very annoying to look at this way im not sure what setting i changed to do this. Does any one has any ideas on how to fix this? :banghead:

Do you mean you cannot extract a zip file? Download WinRAR from www.rarsoft.com
Install the app, Right click on the zip file and tell it to extract to a folder. ( I prefer extracting it into its own folder)

If that is not what your talking about post a screenshot so we can see whats going on.

Thanks that solved all my problems at once by using WinRAR.
I could extract files normal as long as i saved them. My problem at the time was that if i clicked open instead of save it would open the zip file in the search window instead of the normal explorer window. It doesnt matter now since WinRAR fixed my problem all together. I think i just messed up a file setting is why it was doing that. I attached the screen shot just for reference. Thanks again.
