:banghead:i have to ground out my control panel buttons. Im using a 4 pin molex connector on my power supply to supply the ground....which ground (black wire) should I use? The one next to the red or the one next to the yellow..or doesnt it matter?

Thanks
Sav

why would you be grounding control panel buttons to your power supply? Are you using an IPAC or what are you using for your buttons? Most encoders have grounds specifically for buttons.

im using a ipac2...but i guess i worded that wrong...i meant to say i have a joystick that requires 5v and ground...so i thought i could just use one of the grounds to ground out the joystick

Ahh, does the IPAC 2 not have a 5v input and ground? Ahh, I guess the IPACs don't have a 5v. I have an Opti-PAC as well which does have a 5v.

But to answer your question... jhabers is right. You can use either of the black wires on the molex as they are both grounds.

Yellow +12 V
Black Ground

Red +5 V
