UVP question

when i load a uvp table i get a window in the upper left corner of the screen..is this proper? how do i get rid of it.. thanks

check your databasefile in HP for mistyping.

"check on '<' or 'game' one too many .. this is the most common error." - (FD @ VPforums)

Also check so you have copied the UVP and Backglass file to the correct folder.
(As usual, all files - table, uvp, backglass and database description must have the same name
(exept the file extensions :proud:))

i took care of the other window issue however i cant get the backglasss to display during a game.... all xml is correct... hmmmmm

Have you opened uvp and then closed it before running HyperPin?
Thinks this is kind of important!

yes i did..still no backglass during gameplay

If this doesn't work, tell us:
name of the table, uvp and backglass and all folder locations. Also what the entry is in your Visual Pinball.xml db for this table.

I had the same issue and MANOFWAR gave me this tip...

Check your XML database to see if you have an "&" in any of the entries. If you do then that's the problem. I had an "&" in my Rocky & Bullwinkle and once I got rid of it...presto!!!!
