Ok I have finished another database file, this time for the Gameboy Color.

Here is the link to download the Gameboy Color database file and the other database files I have done. I made a new post as the old post only says sega master system in the title and so some people might be missing some of these that they might want.

Here is a list of the files included in the database file

Gameboy Color
Sega Genesis
Sega 32x
Sega Game Gear
Sega Master System
Atari Jaguar
Atari Lynx

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GRQDEBD7

Again let me know of any mistakes, even tiny ones please. They are based off of the current no-intro dats(which I probably should include with the database files so people can rename their files accordingly maybe tomorrow I will if I get a chance) and pretty much all the information is from gamefaqs.

I might end up doing one more database file for the original gameboy and then that'll probably be it for me as I don't have the roms for any other systems yet (I have snes and gba but they are both being worked on already)

Excellent job mate.

Just had a quick glance at the genesis because I know that one backwards.

Couple of small things.

Joe Montana Football series are the same as the Sportstalk series.
The &amp stuff is still evident.

Thanks for the time you put in here most appreciated!

the &amp is put in on purpose thats what bbb was saying to change the & to & ok I'll look at the joe montana football series. I mainly went off of what gamefaqs had.

If you look here this is what they have for the joe montana series

http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/genesis/data/915993.html

now if you look at this page for probotector it lists the different names

http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/genesis/data/563317.html

and that is what I went off of. Funnily enough I left probotector in even though its the same game as contra because they changed a bunch of the sprites around and it seemed like it might be kind of cool to play. But thats where I got my data from. If gamefaqs didn't list it together like that then I didn't know it was the same game repackaged.

you know looking at them it seems like they all have different years and such. I think they might all be unique games. I'll have to spend some time looking at it better when I get home from work.

Ugh, I hate trying to decipher alternate titles.

I missed the conversation about the &amp stuff but im guessing it's because it conflicts with XML?

Fair comment.

Dunno if you know about this site http://www.genesiscollective.com/ShowPage.php?GameLink=362 you'll be pushed to find a more comprehensive resource for genesis.

The covers on that particular page illustrate that they are the same game, in that they are identical other than game title and the genesis vs mega drive logo.

Your right about some seemingly identical titles have regional variations, I also happen to know that rock 'n' roll racing has different a different soundtrack in US compared to Europe, I believe one of the batman games is like that too.

I don't understand what you are saying that site says? Both titles on that page say joe montana II sports talk football as far as I can read?

In my database file I have these games for joe montana I put a link to that site you linked to showing each game has its own seperate listing on that site, these games also each have different years and such too. Oh and I couldn't find any other games with sports talk in the title besides sports talk baseball in my database file.

yeah I think this time, but I'm sure there's some mistakes/duplicates in there somewhere. Keep letting me know of anything you notice. I want these to be as correct as possible.
