Video transitions. Like the ones you see on the main menu. They will randomly play between themes. You can override any game by renaming one to the romname and sticking it in the override transitions folder in each systems video folder.

Obviously you guys have a million things on your plate right now but could we have a video demonstration of what it looks like without then the difference with the transitions? I'm having trouble visualizing what it would look like on something that isn't the main menu.

It only shows a handful of the transitions...some like one of the puzzle ones shows up a few times. In the new HS, you can set an override transition for any game. So for example, Tetris, you could tell it to use one of the puzzle transitions. Or for a gory game like Mortal Kombat, you can set it to that blood dripping transition.

Nevermind. 90 transitions, thats quite a few.

yea...there are 90. You have around 30 fire/smoke type transitions, 30 particle type transitions and another 30 that vary alot like coin drops, flares, blood, slime, etc.

I am going to try and put together another video to show off all of them.

crap, I thought these were on the FTP so was just waiting (I am currently locked out) but since not then I'll order in the AM! As Dazz said, some of these were quite expensive and purchasing this pack will help support this project. If I understand correctly we can expect more transition packs assuming there is adequate financial support from the community.

Yes sir, we will have more and more produced as the funds come in, now the next set will be special geared toward specific games and will be smaller inexpensive sets. Maybe 30 transitions per set. The big 90 pack is a good starter random set to help get us off the ground.

These look great. I will be purchasing these this weekend. Nice work to all involved, I don't have a lot of time to make themes or art work, due to full time school and work, so I am always up for supporting the best FE out there with cash money.

Each set will have its own price depending on the cost it took to make the set, etc... Its paypal only.
