# of No-Intro MAME roms?

So what is the total number of roms in the No-Intro MAME naming set? Just curious. I suppose I could look it up but I am lazy tonight.

No intro is just console naming convention. But theres alot of mame roms.

I think the number of MAME roms now is almost at 8000. But BBB is right, MAME roms have their own name, no need for other programs

doh...not thinking straight. 8000...wow...after you toss out all the mahjong, unplayable, poorly emulated, and multiple clones, how many do you think you have left?

okay...I kind of figured this out myself.around 3827 unique games...around 930 that are not playable. So thats a little under 3K. Take out all the rest of the crap and you are probably around 2-2,500 games that are playable (whether you want to play them or not is another question).
