You don't have to re-download. Shimoda created an application that we used to zip most of the old files. Check out his repacking utility (http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?p=61888#post61888).

Anyone know how to just add background art? B4 I just had all my backglass pngs in the background folder,I tried the obvious n moving them to the video folder nothing.wheel art is fine even if I van get 1 default image rather than a black screen would be fine. I really don't feel like making a hundred or so themes just 4 backgrounds;) thanks to all you that post here it's a ton a help;)

Two things:
1. Do save the money and join the gold crew!
2. The reason I made this a one-per-run repacker was in case you were packing a system theme with a hyphen. The new naming convention solves several problems, among them confusion over dates and names and standardizing things just plain keeps them neat. However, for systems like the PC-FX with hyphens in the name, the utility would parse that and rename PC.

If you need a repacker that will batch repack your entire MAME folder for example, I can do that no problem, I have one at home that I can post. Only thing is, some of the old themes had faulty backgrounds (wrong size) and will not work. There aren't many but I may still have the tool somewhere that replaces those backgrounds as well. Again the problem there is that it doesn't differentiate b/w dupes.

If I can find that one, I'll just post it here.

Just put them in the backgrounds folder.

Na didn't work in there that's why I moved them to videos, it's the only 1 that I added without the new wizard,I'll bet I messed up that way! Whoop! When I get home I'll give it another try. Thanks 1 more question the wife wants to know when will the arcade thingy be done;)
