There is no cabinet.dll You need to get the cabinet version of PinMame.dll and replace the old one that is in the pinmame folder.

After installing PinMAME you should download the PinMAME cabinet.dll file available on the site. Place this file in your Visual Pinball folder and replace the existing one. This file will eliminate the PinMAME splash screens and allow for DMD placement on the second monitor.
What hell is this?

The name of the file is pinmame.dll, its a replacement dll for the one in your pinmame install folder. You can get it over at vpforums in the downloads area.

I also looked for cabinet.dll when I first needed the file. Someone called it that once, and it confused some people.

I am confused though too... For a few days, and numerous posts, we have been trying to help you get your DMD working. You said from the beginning that you had the cabinet Pinmame.dll I suppose this was part of your problem.

if i run the hp only 1 monitor, the dmd appears normaly.
if i run (dual monitor) the dmd disappear completely.(don´t drag and drop dmd).
exists any configuration in the windows or nvidia control panel to solve this?
cabinet.dll is ok, i have a lg 4:3 for backglass and lg fullhd for the playfield.
my video card is nvidia 6200XFX (poor, but working) and 182.50 driver.
Please, anybody help me? TKS

Hello Rawd, BBB, player1, thanks for your helps really.
I found in the forums the answer to my problem, see this:

1. Check that you really have latest cabinet version of Vpinmame: http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?au...etail&f_id=967

Download it and replace current dll with it.

2. Go to registry editor and delete all registry keys in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Freeware/Visual PinMame

3. Install Pinmame again and select correct paths etc. during installation

4. Launch table and move dmd to correct position, press f3

5. Quit to editor and launc same table again, DMD should be in position you just moved it. At least it is now working correctly for me

It´s solve, the dmd now appears in the all tables.
More one time, excuse for my incovenience. TKS, Orlando

I just spent an hour trying to find this DLL. I should say its in the FAQ install guide on vpforums, and is in the vpmame_cabinet_build zip file.
