This is my new work.

Any suggestions to improve it ?

Hrmm, there's a bit of white next to the kung-fun guy's sock that needs to be cleaned up. Other than that it looks good to me. Although maybe that's part of the video image. Were there white posters on those pillars? I can't remember.

edit: also try adjusting the selective colour and increasing the blacks/etc - it does look a bit washed out.

No, this isn't white around the socks but on the pillar.

I'll adjust the curves and the contrast of the bad guy.

I think I give up that project for the moment, as I'm not satisfied at all by the poor quality art I've found to work on.

I think HS staff have access to ultra high quality art and will do a much more crispy theme.

I probably prefer your first effort on this, the logo stood out better, I would of flipped both the character artworks horizontaly and swapped their positions so the game name and details didn't cover the girls face. I would also like to see the dude with stick somewhere in the first one too but you probably be struggling for room.

I don't think you should give up just yet. :)

No I'm really stuck for this one due to the lack of inspiration and the lack of good quality artwork foundable on the usual sites.

I had this theme unfinished since I decided to work on it again.

Traced the logo and the black boss.

Any suggestions ?

never give up! never surrender! hehehe, I know it's hard to find good High Res art specially for these games, I am still thinking what can I do to help. :banghead:

Made some minor changes and cleaning. Added an Irem logo.

Think I'll upload this one, as I don't know if I can do better due to a lack of good quality art for that game.
