everytime i start hyperspin, i see the same old mame .flv with a plane shooter. if insted of files folders were used under main menu/video nd the program were to randomly pick videos from the folder, it be cooler.

tht would mean more vareity of videos. also if these videos could come one after the other. thanx11

Example:
Currently

"C:\hyperspin\Media\Main Menu\Video\Nintendo Entertainment System.flv"

Proposed
"C:\hyperspin\Media\Main Menu\Video\Nintendo Entertainment System\ Tons of flv.flv, Tons of flv2.flv

then the video could be more randomized and personalised.

can it be done?

I know we were looking into doing medley videos. I dunno how hard it would be to run random ones though.

Along the same lines, random audio would be a nice feature, specifically for the Jukebox wheel add-on. It would be cool to point this Theme toward a folder full of MP3s, and every time the wheel stops on Jukebox, it picks a random song to play.
Definitely falls into the category of "nice to have somewhere down the line, after all the more crucial features are already in place".

Yeah I posted about backround audio as you saw in another thread. What I remember from arcades growing up was those 80s tunes playing in the backround when I was blasting aliens. ;)
