As more and more games get added to the wheel it would be nice to be able to skip forward or backwards by letter holding down on a button and pressing up or down on the wheel. I know there is already a way to do this by a set number but it would be much nicer if it was by letter letting you navigate faster to the game you would like to play.

I have 2 solutions to doing this I think, both have advantages and disavantages.
1st way:
HS will sort the list for you (the main list doesnt have to be in any particular order) and then you can have skip to next letter support.
Disadvantage is that the games are in the order HS puts them and you dont have control.
2nd way:
HS doesnt sort the list for you, you keep a master list with the way you want the games to be sorted, for example maybe you want some games to be together or in a certain order, like all the street fighters in a certain order that they came out or situations like that.
Disadvantage is that you wont have alphabetical support unless you manually add breakpoints in the master list by hand.
I would like to hear everyones thoughts on either situation.

I do not have a preference and can live with either; they are both good solutions.

1 sounds good to me and makes sense. I mean with the new master list for Mame, a to z is how you want it listed anyway. I think the skip option makes much more sense to jump ahead by letter rather than a set number.

I brought this up previously. In a way it is better for HS to sort them alphabetically. Makes it easier for everyone. Mame already does this so I am sure it wouldn't make that much of a difference.
