After adding the transitions I want more. I am going to buy the future releases for sure. I like the dedication transitions. Now that they are there, the ones without feel like there is something missing. Can't wait for more. My cab won't be complete until the transision set is complete!

I've also purchased the two packs available and i think they are really great and fastastically made too.
I would like to see in the next packs more transactions especially for some of my favorites games like Wonder Boy, Ghost'n' Goblins, Pitfall 2, Rygar, Black Tiger or Combat School.
Please go on with this great work :)

We are definitely down for taking some requests. We will try and get a few of those titles in our upcoming releases.

Any news on when supporters of the transition project will get our shiny little "T" avatars? It's a badge of honor to support the project, I want to wear it proudly! ;-)

The arcade override pack is for arcade games only. You can see the transitions and the games they are for within HyperMart itself. The install is as simple as unzipping and copying to a specific folder and then it's done (instructions included in purchase).

Some of the transitions are good enough to be used for other games, or other platforms as well, but these would have to be done manually by you.

Question:
I try to complain it as good as I can.
When I select a system, the screen turns from Main Menu to the default Theme, is it possible to insert a transition there ? Now there's only a random Transition from the Frontend Folder.

Got the 90 pack last night. That is a very nice piece of work there guys!
2 questions:
1. Can any of these be applied to the main wheel (system selector) like Mike Tyson above me said? Just put the flv in the right folder?
2. Like secret80'sman asked, are there going to be little support badges for our un/avatar area? I'd like to show it off, might help drive sales if people notice that badge on all the supporters posts in the forums. Heck, that's how I became a gold member. It was so pretty....

1. Good question...I will ask BBB. I don't currently have HS set up at home so I forget the process.
2. I designed a badge awhile ago. I will go find it and talk to Dazz about setting it up. Once it is set up, I will let you know how to get it.
Thanks

I'm wanting to buy this pack but am afraid it won't run well on my system. I have one of the new, AMD Fusion E-350 systems (dual 1.6ghz with a AMD 6310 video card built in) and I had to put HyperSpin on LOW settings to get it to run smooth (and I did disable my freebie Microsoft real-time virus protection). I've read all the forum postings on speeding up HyperSpin, what you need to make it fast (video card doesn't matter...it's all processor...which seems ODD...since the new Adobe Flash has GPU acceleration, which I would think HS should use). I do see Special Backgrounds are required to get this to run. Are Special Backgrounds with LOW setting going to run alright? Is there a way to try ONE transition to see how it'd run before I dropped for the whole pack? I do love HyperSpin and it completes my arcade cabinet.
Odd I'm still a HyperNewbie in the forums...I did contribute the $25 and have bugged BadBoyBill enough. :D
Thanks.

HS already comes in the install with transitions already in the main menu so you can already see if you like them or not. These are the ones like the bricks exploding on NES, or the CD's spinning when your on playstation.

The transitions shouldn't theoretically require any more power. They are files played as the name implies, during the transitions between theme loading. They add a lot to the feel of the machine and for that are worth it.
As far as your specific chip, I'm not familiar with it so can't say, but it should be able to handle HS fine. Regarding GPU processing for the flash features, that is a bigger request than you might think. Though HS runs flash and is flash heavy, it is not programmed (currently, and Bill correct me if I'm wrong here) using GPU accelerated flash. It's a bit much to get into the technical aspects of that process in a simple reply, (esp. when I haven't been active for tooooooo long :) ) but needless to sayit should run fine on any decent current gen system. I'm partly assuming you are running a netbook for this which might be somewhat limited.
Regarding the HyperNewbie - have you tried changing the Title info under the Edit your Details in the User CP?

As a follow-up, I did try the transitions as Bill stated. They are too slow on my system...yet I would have happily paid for the extra ones, if it ran faster. Audio was chunky and so was the graphic transitions.
Even though I'm running an AMD Fusion E-350 system (just purchased and assembled last month), it is NOT a netbook or laptop or anything remotely close to that.
The reason I chose that setup was it is a low-cost ($300), low-power usage (30W full load), small footprint (mini-itx with small case) system that is decent enough to run MAME (all games I care about are silky smooth). I assumed it would run HyperSpin just fine, since it's just a FE loader to MAME (for me). I'm not complaining about HyperSpin, just stating my choice (as I did drop cash for HS and would easily do so again).
I enjoy HyperSpin and understand it uses Flash heavily. I'd love to talk development of the product as I'm a veteran developer myself and code C# (hit mightybs.com for my resume) in the Microsoft world for a living (and would love to help out if I could).
Either way...HyperSpin is running great (with one exception, it freezes on initial boot, which I'll post elsewhere to discuss), and I enjoy the product for my cabinet.
Atom and ION processors just do not have the necessary power to run HyperSpin with all eyecandy enabled. This has been brought up multiple times. It's possible that HyperSpin 2.0 *may* have a little lower system requirements due to newer versions of Flash are more CPU optimized.
HyperSpin is flash heavy because it is coded in ActionScrip 3 and that isn't going to change.

I use an atom for a bartop.
HS will run, at low res with quite a few of the options turned down. Then the only noticeable delay is entering the mame list.
Also, the intro video and the default mame video need re-encoding.
