I think finally have everything I need to start working.
Just had a question about cab size.

Leaving my TV bezel on, mainly due to laziness, total length of the TV is 40 1/8"

Is 52" enough room?
6" for the backglass leaves me with 46" to jam the TV in.
Does that seem ok or should I allow a couple more?

We cant really answer that you need to center the LCD within the cab you build often the lower bezel is wider then the top etc etc so you need to work out dimensions cant really be told what it should be.

Far less painful working with an LCD that has no bezel, you would find it's real easy to take off.

If it helps as a size reference

i used 16mm MDF to suit my 42" LCD.

Trust me, if your coming along with us on this road, taking off the bezel is the easy part...

If I have to de-bezel - it's not a problem, but I think I'm going to end up being ok.

I was more concerned about how much room front and back I should have, if any.
I was thinking lockbar + TV size + a few inches of wiggle room just in case.
Or should I just leave out the wiggle room.

I would leave out the wiggle room, and after you place in your TV, you build the cab around it... less bezel the better, IMHO.

That plus Kurt's pic helps immensely - thanks!

+1 on removing the bezel... so much easier and makes for a more appealing cab.
