I have been having issue setting up Nestopia. I set my computer resolution to 1024x768. went into hyperhq and make sure it is the sam there. I also set it to be the same in Nestopia and set to be open in full screen. When I open it by it self it opens fine. When I try to launch it through hyperspin it goes to a black screen then if can not see anything I then hit esc it then disappears looks like I am never going to get this working. :(. Any ideas I have never been able to get this to work ok

Thanks
Chris

make sure you have them set to the same frequency.

What do you mean by this? In nestopia it is set to auto I can not see where to change it in hyperspin.

"nobody to support the problems"

WTF? I'm sorry, but we do nothing but support on these forums. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of very helpful people on these forums that are more than willing to offer support. Yes, we do take that personally as this community is the most active and largest out of ANY frontend out. Many of us spend hours on these forums logged in and doing only support.

It's obvious that you are having issues getting setup... Your problems seem to point to 2 issues.

1. incorrectly named roms. Basically, your rom names do not match the No-Intro rom names that the default HyperSpin lists are based off of.

2. You don't know what a file path is or how a file path works. Your Nestopia issue tells me that Nestopia isn't able to find your roms. Did you go through ALL of the settings in Nestopia and set the CORRECT file paths?

So, start off by posting your settings files for NES. Screen shots of your folders where your NES roms and emulator are located. Screen shots of your Nestopia settings and file paths. Read other threads regarding database files and rom renaming and read/watch Shimodas' future tutorial on rom renaming.

I can guarantee that if I were to log into your machine remotely; I could have NES up and running through HyperSpin in less than 15 minutes.

Also, I just opened an NES tutorial (http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=105&Itemid=118). Start from scratch and try setting it up. If your roms are crap, then it wouldn't work anyways, but when I make the tutorials I always do each step testing along the way to make sure things work 100%. There will be a video added to that one ans snes soon. Additionally, as Dazz mentioned, I am working on a clrmamepro renaming/repacking tut and it will highlight NES sets as an example.
