Very funny... my dad did the same thing with me on my Sega Saturn. We played Daytona USA and when I went to bed my dad would learn everything he could about the game, and would play it for long hours.... finally my dad told me if I could beat him we could go to the store and I could pick out any video game I wanted.
I won, by a lot. My dad was a bit.... um yeah :banghead:
So he took me to the store, and since Saturn was still very new I had a limited selection so I picked up Bug!
Cool game at the time... but doesn't play as well anymore.
I'll never have this problem. I stay competitive with my kids and the rest of the neighborhood kids all the time. Every once in a while we have tournaments on my cabinet and I get out there and have fun with the kids.
My 6 year old son and 10 year old daughter play with me in games all the time. My son and I are always calling each other "noob" when one of us dies in game. He and I get pretty competitive, but I don't think he'll ever get to the point where he can really beat me in any game though. It's pretty funny being called a noob from a 6 year old.

ROTFLMAO. You think we ever felt any different? I'm 44 and I can tell the reflexes are still good, but the patience that's needed to be in top form (not that I ever was!) is startnig to fade so my skills are affected.
Dazz, when your kid is 16, you will be 10 years older. He will enter his peak and you will start declining. You will lose, it is inevitable. :).
