here's my 3rd theme, Spider-Man the Video Game by Sega!
-the background zooms out (used as artwork 1)
-the title pulsates
- 3 heroes grow on x axis
- spidey elastic bounces down and then hovers
- the video drops down from the top and rotates into place
ant suggestions?

i like it a lot....this was on my to do list too...i know there isnt a lot of "official" art for this game (at least i couldn't rly find any)
good job dude, only a couple small things i notice but not even enough to mention that I wouldn't just correct them myself
my only real feedback would be the video gets kinda lost in the whole theme.....sometimes thats hard to overcome when dealing with multiple graphics

i think u should make it simple, get some sweet spiderman and venom or any other bad dude artwork, get rid of the other loser characters make the screen center and as big as you can with the meduim size title and to large characters on ethir side
but thats just my thought

IMO, I don't think that's the way to go at all; I think that incorporating the playable characters makes the theme look relevant to the Spiderman arcade game (and not just random character Spiderman artwork). Personally, I think it's good that some themes are busy with a lot of movement - if every one was designed identically, that would make it pretty boring fast!
I'm actually really looking forward to seeing this one in motion (with Spidey dangling and the pulsing title). I think the video border looks good; I'm not sure about including the marquee, to be honest - I'd probably cut it. Maybe make the video a little larger, but I wouldn't change its placement in the theme.

I actually enjoy the business of it all. I'm a major Spider-man fan though. Personally, the only thing that bugs me is the quality of it all, but it may just be from the artificing from the image and not the theme itself. I applaud this theme.

i agree 100%. using the artwork that is the "official" released or advertised artwork for a game release should be the 1st option for all us theme designers. then if that doesn't pan out explore other options for artwork. i like this theme the way it is. there are some things I'd tweak, but it captures the feel of the game.

try some better artwork for this game, use as much as you can from the original game.
