Hi all, starting my first cab project, going to be a cocktail cab :D

Ordered some parts and was wanting opinions on possible art, and the best methods for putting that art on the sides and control panels of the cab.

Got mamerooms 3 sided cocktail cab kit, and happ competition sticks and buttons for all of it, a 19 inch monitor bezel and a 19 inch pc CRT monitor.
Using and ipac4 board.

Going to be running hyperspin on a core2 duo e6750 with 2 gigs of ram and geforce 8400GS video card.

Any suggestions/advice on things i need to add, or on how to best apply art to the cab?

Will post pics of my progress once i get my parts in.

I hope i didnt make bad choices for buttons/sticks/board, and for the cab itself!

i dont like ipac boards.. especially the 4 player. I have the Ipac4 board on my sunset riders 4 player machine and i get a lot of ghosting and unwanted button presses... like playing nba jam 4 player is a pain. I'll recommend the A-Pac or individial joystick boards.

Besides that ... sounds like a decent machine..

I'll recommend adding your own support bars here and there since it uses a lock and cam setup to make it more sturdy

Isn't that supposed to be impossible with the boards? Do you have the new version?

I've had an IPac 4 in my cabinet for years... It's all a matter of programing it correctly to stop ghosting and unwanted button presses. I sat for hours and made sure that my IPAC 4 programming was perfect. I don't use ANY windows key such as CTRL, HOME, INSERT, END, PG UP, PG DN, ALT, Shift, etc. I triple checked that none of my inputs were duplicated and it's been perfect since doing that.

Unfortunately, I added 2 Happ Rotary sticks and an Rotary Interface from Ultimarc and it's caused some issues since it uses [, ], - and = for the inputs. I need to re-visit my IPAC programming and remove those keys now. Other than that the IPAC has been nothing but rock solid for me.
