Hyperlaunch and Dreamcast

Hi,

Hyperlaunch and Dreamcast seem not to be working for me.
Did anyone manage to make it work?
I'm only getting a black screen.

does it work for you without hyperlaunch?

for me it doesnt work either way, it brings up the emulator (if you put it at "normal" instead of "hidden" but it doesnt load the game.

does anybody know if we have to do something within nulldc?
ive tired to set a default image but it didnt seem to make a difference.
do we need a parameter?

smell like another daphne headace that i still can't solve either.

i feel you guys pain....the one thing i dread about all frontends is getting emulators to work correctly.....NullDC has always been a hard one to set up in any FE. Brian helped me when i was trying to set it up in GameEx. Visual Pinball / VPINMAME is another that is a pain. Hopefully Bill will be able to come up with something cool for HS to make emulator setup painless and seamless. I remember spending DAYS trying to get certain emulators working in 3D Arcade. (i still love me some 3D Arcade though ..haha )

i have to be honest and say that maximus arcade works like a charm with all emulators,and other non gaming programs.

within 30 min you can setup all your stuff, it just doesnt have the awesome eye candy that hyperspin does (and no to mention it cost $25 )

i wish their were detailed faqs for each emulator setup,

daphne kills me, everybody you talk to has it set up a different way and confuses everybody else trying to set it up.

dont get me wrong guys, i love hyperspin, and will keep at it till i get it all working.

Its probably not Hyperspin thats your problem, if your getting dreamcast black screen then its probably your dreamcast config. Post your config file here so I can see. Also post your dreamcast.ini and the log file from when you try to launch. That kind of stuff helps us help you rather than just hearing you saying it doesnt work.

And also puc puc didnt say the problem was fixed in chat with him and indeed it was the dreamcast config , not hyperpsin.

sorry for responding so late,
My problem was inside the nulldc.cfg - after bbb's hint in the chat it's fine (using hyperlaunch).
I changed to these settings:

LoadDefaultImage=1
Emulator.AutoStart=1
Fullscreen.Enabled=1

nulldc still does not display fog effects, but I think I have to configure the plugins properly.

If somebody knows the "magic switch" for displaying fog effects I'd be happy to get the solution.
