Videos with default themes

Has anyone else experienced issues with running a default system theme and videos not showing?? I run Koolbreeze's mame system theme and i've noticed that if i look at more than one game in a row that use the system theme (eg they dont have their own specific theme), only the first games video appears. If i then look at a game with its own theme, its video displays fine. If i then look at a bunch of games that use the system theme in succession, once again only the first video is displayed. Anyone got any ideas?

ok this seems quite serious now as hyperspin is doing the same thing with the boxart. which means that for consoles that use the default theme, boxart doesnt work at all

I have my default theme for mame and i see all videos and all artworks from 1 to 4

yup, figured this one out, it was the "wait for videos" option in the optimiser, turned it on a while back to see what it did, turned it off, all is good again.
