Can't start game from HS?

I have been playing around with HS files, where I have only mame as a single game list in HS. I had been able to select a game in the list in the past to start to play with, but for some reason, and I'm still invertigating why, I can no logner get a game started from HS. I have the controls set in the setting.ini file as (no change)

[Main Controls]
Start = 13
Exit = 27


Any leads where my problem may be to why I cannot get games started? The symptoms: When selectrin a games from the list to start, nothing happens.

please post the data that appears in your HyperSpin log file. The file is located in your root HyperSpin folder and is called log.txt.

Yeah I got the same thing when I loaded the new version. I tried putting my emulator and roms in the emulator folder. I have my emulator and rom in the path name extension in the C:\ directory but Hyperspin is on my desktop. I tried putting the emulator in the desktop folder with the new installed and changed the path name to the desktop extension. But, when I put the emulator and roms back in the C:\ directory and changed the path and rom path in the MAME settings the games worked again.

Thank you for the post and the reference to the log. I have some how left of the backslash (/) at the end of my paths.

LOL. I feel like a retard. :dancing2: I did the same exact thing. Left out the \. Now mine works well. Thanks for figuring it out.

Hi Yogabar,

Glad I can help. My issue arose without any change? One week HS loads games, the other week is does not. I do not know how the "/" from the path was removes, but like you say. I glad I found it, thanks to Dazz help.
